Outlook ....

Assuming there are no extra problems with today's BE-v, this will be the last release for a while. Real life calls again (my business needs time, a friend has bought a house, Xmas is coming). The 1.18.6 RC does not appear to offer any serious improvements and Windlight is still too early for my taste, so I guess we won't miss much.

I hope everybody has a good First and Second Holiday with all the attachments staying where they should be.

Nick

PS: If you have crashes with BE-v, you can send dumps and I'll see if I can find the time too look at them and if I can dig anything interesting. Just follow the instructions after the crash.

I totally understand your circumstances, Nicholaz. Merry Christmas to you!

When you come back, might I suggest that you take a look at the WindLight viewer. When it runs right, it's an incredible viewer with picturesque imagery. Problem is, it doesn't run right nearly as much as we'd like.

Regardless, you are a valuable asset to the Second Life community. Thanks for applying your knowledge for the masses.

Yea, merry Christmas too Nick!

BTW the vast majority of patches just apply with out issue 1.18.6.X so if anyone here is extra keen to get a head start you know what to do :-)

Lets hope the new year may bring the application of these patches to the Linden Tree :-)

Robin, I already have a patch set for 1.18.6.1. It went into Windlight with only a little adjustment (or being removed, two or three seem stale now).
